Be very strategic with television commercials, buy/trade spots surrounding the Grammies, CMA and ACM awards broadcasts, video countdown show on cable and buy other lesser expensive cable avails.

Billboards are good and have proven effective for me in the past.

Pens, balloons, Frisbees, mugs, key chains, T-shirts and hats are great give-a-ways. These little items leave a lasting impression, particularly if the competition is giving away nothing.

Some people donít realize the value of parades, festivals and charities as marketing and promotions. Most of the time any of these organizers will be thrilled that a radio station wants to come to their event and will do all they can to encourage itÖ and what better way to say hi to listeners and potential listeners.
